About Us

Williamsburg Boat Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing rowing athletes and promoting the sport of rowing in Williamsburg and the surrounding areas. We offer programs for all ages, skill levels, and abilities. Our rowers train at Chickahominy Riverfront Park and compete in regattas across Virginia, as well as in North Carolina, New Jersey, and Florida.​

We are committed to providing a high-quality rowing experience in a positive and inclusive environment for individuals of all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds.  To achieve this, we prioritize exceptional coaching, quality training facilities, and well-maintained equipment. We strive to offer a wide range of rowing opportunities, ensuring that no rower’s potential or access is limited by our programs or cost.​

Establish WBC as the center of excellence for community (recreational and competitive) rowing in the Upper South region.
