Middle School Rowing
WBC's Youth program is regionally recognized as an inclusive, competitive, accomplished rowing program with many of our athletes going on to attend top tier rowing programs at Division 1, 2 and 3 colleges and universities. It all can start in middle school!

We welcome 6th and 7th graders and 8th graders athletes of all skill and ability to join us throughout the year (most 8th graders will move to the HS program once they have learned the basics of rowing). Learn water safety and rowing basics while improving strength, fitness and flexibility. Make new friends, enjoy being out on the water and be a part of a great team!

In the fall and spring, middle school athletes train 3 days a week in the late afternoon. We hold a “mini regatta” at the end of each season to give athletes the opportunity to showcase what they have learned to family and friends. Summer rowing is in the morning and offers athletes the opportunity to reinforce skills and build on what they have learned during the year. Winter training is indoors with an emphasis on fitness, skill, general athleticism, and team bonding.
Private Lessons are available
